Jeroen Derwort (He/Him)
Chairman, Dutch Games Association
Jeroen is chairman of the Dutch Games Association. His day-to-day job is at The Hague University of Applied Sciences, where he is guiding students to create games and pursue their dreams of becoming game developers. He is the co-founder and former CEO of Gamebasics (Miniclip Netherlands since 2021), the company behind Online Soccer Manager (OSM). He created this game in is attic room in 2001 and led Gamebasics to become a succesful scale-up, with OSM reaching millions of users worldwide. He’s a programmer by trade, who started programming games from a young age.
