Now that the DGA – as part of the Benelux Games Promotional Initiative (BGPI) – is taking over INDIGO, there is unfortunately no capacity to also organize the Dutch Game Day.

“When we saw an opportunity to keep INDIGO in the Netherlands, we decided to do everything we could to seize it,” says DGA chairman Jeroen Derwort. “We carefully considered the elements that have made the event such a success in recent years. We want to focus entirely on one strong international event, incorporating all the factors that have contributed to the success of both Indigo and Dutch Game Day. While it is unfortunate that Dutch Game Day will be discontinued, we believe that a strong Indigo, organized together with our enthusiastic partners, is the best choice to further establish the game industry in the Benelux.”
